Sambit began the session by expounding on why businesses need data archiving in Salesforce and how they can achieve it easily with DataArchiva. He explained the reasons ranging from storage space optimization and cost-effectiveness to compliance and security standards that necessitate embracing a Salesforce data archiving strategy. 

Nextly, Sambit took a short walk through several ways to archive unused Salesforce data. He introduced a few options including Big Objects, external storage platforms, and On-premise systems that DataArchiva can use to keep the archived data as per the business preference. He also explained how to get the maximum ROI from Salesforce data archiving by bolstering a long-term data retention strategy, gaining data ownership, monitoring objects usage trends, etc.

• Data Purging: In order to meet GDPR and other compliance needs, when a user raises a data deletion request, it needs to be deleted from the archived location as well. DataArchiva supports the purging of RTBF data.
• Data Management: They can efficiently manage data by keeping their live data in the production org and old data in the archived location by gaining ultimate data ownership and eliminating costs associated with additional storage purchases.
